BLUEY'S HR What a year 1966 was, songs like "these Boots Were Made For Walking" (Nancy Sinatra), "Daydream" (Lovin Spoonful) and "No Where Man" by the Beatles were belting out of our transistor radios. Bob Dylan was touring Australia and concert tickets would have set you back an outrageous $1.55 each. Films such as "My Fair Lady", "The Sound of Music" and the first Bond movie, "Thunderball" filled our theatres. This was one of Bluey's favourite Utes. He loved travelling around the farm and rides into town on a Saturday night. But the only drawback was waiting for hours in the back while the boys enjoyed a beer or two in the local pub.
